At least 70 killed as trains collide(車、船等猛撞)

  Zibo,Shandong:Two passenger trains collided in Shandong province early yesterday morning, killing at least 70 people and leaving 416 injured(受傷).

  Officials(官員)said the accident(事故)was caused by“human error”and ruled out terrorism(恐怖).

  The accident was the worst in the country since 1997 when 126 people were killed in a train crash in Hunan province.

  Among the injured were four French nationals,all of whom have been hospitalized with bone fractures(骨折),a spokesman(發(fā)言人)for the provincial foreign affairs office said.

  This is the second major(重大的)railway accident in Shandong this year.
