When our son Bradley was ten, the new bicycle he had received as a birthday gift was stolen. Owning a bike was a big deal to our _________ when they were little. They spent hours and hours, day after day, _________ their bikes, riding up and down the footpath, and at the front of the house.
_________ was a great way to get the kids out of the house and into the fresh air without spending any _____ .
Bradley discovered that his bike had been _________ from our backyard, when he and his sister went outside for a morning ride. He couldn’t believe that _________ would do this.
He got a large piece of cardboard, painted a sign _________ for the bike to be returned, and tied the sign to the letterbox. The following morning when I went out to collect the ________ , I found a white envelope with the magical words “ ________ yourself a new bike”. It was a $100 banknote inside.
We were very _________ that someone had the heart to do this. We’ve never been able to thank the person _________ we think it may be one of our wonderful neighbors. Bradley _________ a big “Thank you” on the sign and we left it outside for a couple of weeks afterwards in case it was someone who drove down our street.
A happy Bradley was able to buy a new bike. As the years ________ , the bikes became bigger and more expensive but were still important for those family bike riders. Now _________ have taken the place of their bikes. Bradley is 25. Sometimes I miss the days when receiving a bicycle was the best thing in the world to them.
All these years later, we are still _________ to that amazingly kind stranger who made Bradley’s wish come true. We were a young family with three little children and it meant a lot to us. We still talk about it and, even now, wonder who he was.

The University of St Andrews is the setting of royal(皇家的) love: on the grounds of this great Scottish university Prince William and Kate Middleton first met and fell in love.
More than that, St Andrews is Scotland's first university and one of the oldest universities in the English-speaking world. Built in 1413 (just after Oxford and Cambridge), over 6 hundred years, the university has been well known as one of Europe's leading and most special centers for teaching and research.
The location of St Andrews is in a small, historical town to the coast of North East Scotland. The university itself is the perfect place for learning. On average(平均) one in three people you see in the street have something to do with the university. You start to feel very quickly that you belong.
As a student in St Andrews, playing golf is a must. With the town itself known around the world as “The Home of Golf”, the university is within minutes of the ancient golf-playing ground in the world, the Old Course, just near the sea. Students can take a break from their studies by enjoying a game of golf, and the university itself is a popular place to go.
It has one of the lowest dropout(輟學(xué)) rates in the UK---98 percent of students complete their degree. Perhaps its popularity is in part because of the fact that St Andrews is good for nearly every subject. It has long been among the UK's top five.
