                            動(dòng)詞變名詞

      在本單元中，細(xì)心的同學(xué)會(huì)觀察到書上出現(xiàn)了兩個(gè)“新”單詞:training和feeling。這是兩個(gè)什么詞呢？動(dòng)詞？名詞？也許老師曾說(shuō)過，他們是動(dòng)名詞。

      那么，動(dòng)名詞是如何演變來(lái)的呢？請(qǐng)看以下例子: 

      train (v.訓(xùn)練;培養(yǎng)) → training (n.訓(xùn)練;培養(yǎng)) 

      feel (v.感覺;觸摸) → feeling (n.感覺;感觸)

      同學(xué)們，查一査詞典，找出下列單詞的漢語(yǔ)意思。

     teach (v.          )→teaching (n.         )  

      open (v.          )→opening (n.         )

      在本單元中除了以上提到的動(dòng)詞詞尾加ing變名詞外，還提到了另一種動(dòng)詞變名詞

的形式，即在某些動(dòng)詞的詞尾加(a) tion,請(qǐng)看以下這個(gè)例子：

      satisfy (v.使?jié)M意，使?jié)M足) →sadsfaction (n.滿足，滿意)        

      同學(xué)們，你們能把下列動(dòng)詞變成名詞嗎？

      Every year,thousands of volunteers across Canada work for the Canadian Red Cross (加拿大紅十字會(huì)).
