Fu Lei's Family Letters is a book of letters written by Chinese translator and writer Fu Lei to his elder son Fu Cong. Between 1954 and 1966. To Fu Lei, learning to be a good person comes before any academic (學(xué)術(shù)的) training. On 27 December 1954, Fu Lci wrote,"Everyone should be a good person before becoming an expert in any area. Otherwise, that person will not achieve much, no matter how knowledgeable he or she is.”
