The other day, I take part in the National English Debating Competition. I have a lot to share with you. At first, I feel really delighted what I’ve won the first prize in the competition, which makes me understood the true meaning of the proverb "no pains, no gains." Furthermore, in the five-days competition, I established a closely friendship with students from all over the country, from who I’ve learned a great deal. More importantly, taking this competition have enabled me overcome my fear of speaking in the public, thus developing my self-confidence. Additionally, I owe many thanks for my teacher and the judges, without whose help, I couldn’t have done such an excellent job.

第五處:修飾名詞friendship用形容詞,故closely改成close。
第六處:考查非限制性定語(yǔ)從句。先行詞是students,指人,定語(yǔ)從句用"介詞from+關(guān)系代詞whom"引導(dǎo)。故who改成whom。
第七處:這句話的主語(yǔ)是動(dòng)名詞,謂語(yǔ)用單數(shù)。故have改成has。
第八處:enable sb. to do sth.使某人能夠做某事,為固定用法。故me后面加to。
第九處:in public是固定短語(yǔ),意為"在公共場(chǎng)合"。故去掉the。
第十處:owe one’s thanks to是固定短語(yǔ),意為"向某人表示感謝"。故for改成to。
