Dear Editor,
    I’m a middle school student naming Li Ming. I’m writing to tell you something. Recently I’ve noticed many of my classmates often to go to the net bar near our school. The other day I went here, too. I was surprised to see many students playing computer games, seeing films or chatted. Some students were even talking about love affairs online. On my opinion, net bars should be a place where we can find much useful informations. But the Internet should be a window to the outside world rather than place for games. The Internet is good if we make good use with it. Otherwise, it will do us great harm. So the local government should take measure to make sure that students use net bars positively.

Walter's goal in life was become a successfully doctor. He knew he had to finish high school first, so he puts his heart into his studies — in particular, biology, chemistry, or maths. Because he worked hard at these subjects, Walter became good at it. However, Walter forgot what he needed to master some other subjects besides those he had been chosen. Dear Brad,
I’m very glad to hear from you. In your last letter you ask about the post-80s in China. Actually I am the boy who belongs to this group. Comparing with our parents, life for us is getting much hard. The job market is tough and the house is expensively to afford. Now many girls prefer to marry with a man who owns a house and a car. Therefore, I don’t think love built on house and cars is true love, and I doubt how long it will last.
As a matter of fact, though situations are tough today, a lot of we post-80s are making great efforts live a good life. I believe we will have a nice future.

When I first learned to write in English, I run into many difficulty. The main problem was in that I always thought in Chinese and tried to translate everything into Chinese. My teacher advised me to keep diaries. I followed her advices. Happily it worked. Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself on paper as I was learning to express me in simple English. One day I wrote a short story showed it to my teacher. She liked it very much that she read it to the class. Everyone said the story was the good one. I was great encouraged by their words.

My little cousin often comes to see me. But she is too noisy sometimes. Yesterday, as usual, he came very earlier in the morning. I was listening the radio and didn’t want to play with him. So he didn’t seem to know that. He asked me to play with him again and again. I was so annoyed with him that I shout at him, “Could you just leave me alone?” He had never seen me so angrily. He burst into tear and said, “I like playing with you. When the school begins, you will leave for me again.” I was moving when I heard that. So I turned on the radio and played with him.
