I was playing at my cousin house.Since his family was rich than mine,he had more toys than I did.There was one on particular I'd always wanted.I put∧into my pocket when he wasn't looking,I guessed,even at that age,I would never be able to enjoy to playing with the toy or facedmy cousin again; I would always know I'd done something wrong.Late on,my aunt drove me home.When she dropped me off,I pulled out the toy slow and gave it back.She knows what had happened,but she thanked me and ever motioned it again.
詳解:
1.cousin改為cousin's."在我堂兄弟的家",考查名詞所有格的用法,cousin后加's表示"…的";
2.rich改為richer.有比較級的出現(xiàn)標(biāo)志詞than卻沒有形容詞比較級,一定是錯了,rich的比較級為規(guī)則變化richer;
3.on改為in.考查習(xí)語搭配in particular,意思為"尤其,特別";
4.put into中間加it/that.put…into…,考查動詞用法和代詞,這里漏填了指代那個玩具的單詞it;
5.去掉to.enjoy后面固定搭配是跟doing,所以去掉多余的to;
6.faced改為face.句中有連詞or,表示后面省略的部分跟前面一致,為I would never be able to…or Iwould never be able to…,接在be able to后要用動詞原形face;
7.late改為later.Later on是固定習(xí)語意為"后來",而late的詞義當(dāng)副詞用時是"遲的;最近的";
8.slow改為slowly.這里的"慢"應(yīng)該是說明作者掏兜的動作,即修飾動詞pull要用副詞slowly;
9.knows改為knew.動詞時態(tài)考點(diǎn),通篇文章因?yàn)槭菙⑹鲞^去發(fā)的一件事,所以時態(tài)基本都為過去時,這里不可能出現(xiàn)knows這樣明顯的表示習(xí)慣的一般現(xiàn)在時;
10.ever改為never.
常考的知識點(diǎn)有:名詞(單復(fù)數(shù)錯誤),動詞(時態(tài),語態(tài),搭配,轉(zhuǎn)換),代詞(指代錯誤),形容詞和副詞(轉(zhuǎn)換,比較等級),連詞(and,but,or)等.

Liverpool, my hometown, is a special city. It is so unique that in 2004 it became a World Heritage(遺產(chǎn))Site.
I recently returned to my home city and my first stop was at a museum on the River Mersey. Blanketed in mist (薄霧), Victorian architecture rose from the banks of the river, responded to the sounds of sea-birds, and appeared unbelievably charming. When I headed toward the centre, I found myself surrounded by buildings that mirror the best palaces of Europe. It is not hard to imagine why, on first seeing the city, most visitors would be overpowered by the beauty of the noble buildings, which are solid signs of Liverpool’s history.
As if stress its cultural role, Liverpool has more museums and galleries than most cities in Britain. At Walker Art Gallery, I was told that it has best collections of Victorian paintings in the world, and is the home of modern art in the north of England. However, culture is more than galleries. Liverpool offers many music events. As Britain’s No.1 music city, it has the biggest city music festival in Europe, and its musicians are famous all over the world. Liverpool is also well-known for its football and other sports events. Every year, the Mersey River Festival attracts thousands of visitors, madding the city a place of wonder.
As you would expect from such a city, there are restaurants serving food from around the world. When my trip was about to complete, I chose to rest my legs in Liverpool’s famous Philharmonic pub (酒館). It is a monument to perfection, and a heritage attraction itself.
Being a World Heritage Site, my home city is certainly a place of “outstanding universal value”. It is a treasure house with plenty of secrets for the world to explore.
