Learn to turn lemons into lemonade(檸檬水). Look for the lessons to be learned in every situation. Believe in yourself. 【4】________ Your dreams and goals are an indication of where your talents lie and where your true potential is. Needless to say, you must develop your inherent (固有的) gifts.
Look for inspiration and support. Read about and study the successful stories of others. Many successful people have gone through challenging circumstances to get where they are. 【5】________ To help you stay positive and focused, get support from family and friends.
Finally, thinking positively doesn’t mean being unrealistic, It means dealing with life and life’s challenges as they are. It means being willing to do the work necessary to get on with the business of living fully.
A. If you see them as opportunities to become stronger, you are thinking positively and productively.
B. So next time a well-meaning person tells you to think positively, just smile back confidently.

【題目】Children of America are getting fatter every time. 13% of the children at the age of 6 to 11 are overweight (too fat).
When we look at the children's lives today in the USA, we can see the root of the problem----sports and foods. Young children like sports but they don't have enough around the start of high school. That's especially true for girls. Meanwhile, to make matters worse, schools are becoming much more interested in sports teams. So children are not able to get enough exercise just when they need it the most. There is also the food problem. Children get most of their calories at restaurants or parties or somewhere else away from home. They often drink too many Cokes. Parents have a lot of fears about telling a child he needs to lose weight-- they are afraid it will push a child into an eating disorder. Some parents fear that pushing children to lose weight means their children will think they're not good enough, or not loved because of their weight. Parents need to come to terms with(向…妥協(xié)) the fact that the family is very important to the children. The most useful program for children is called "family weight control". This is good news. Mom and Dad, even if they don't have weight problems, have to go through the same program as their children and learn how to get some exercise and how to eat healthily.
【1】Why are American children getting fatter? The writer thinks ______________________.
A. parents also have weight problem as their children
B. children have less exercise and eat unhealthily

【2】The writer wants to tell parents that _________________.
A. overweight children are not loved by people
B. family members can help overweight children a lot
C. children are afraid to lose weight when they have to
D. girls don't like to exercise
【3】The writer thinks if mother or father is on the same program as their children, _______.
A. their children will not eat better
B. it will make the children eat much more
C. "family weight control" will be successful
D. parents will feel sorry about themselves
【4】Which of the following is NOT the root of overweight problem?
A. Family weight control B. Less sports
C. Higher-calorie D. higher-fat foods.

【題目】Beliefs form a big part of our lives. Successful people have always believed that they can be and will be successful in their lives, such as Michael Phelps. Many of us have seen Michael Phelps win 8 gold medals in a single Olympic Games. That has created a history for himself. Many people have admired his success and the first reaction in their mind will be, “Wow, how I wish I could be like him!” Have you ever wondered what brought him success?
In fact, anyone can achieve what they have wanted to achieve. It is about beliefs. Everyone is a born winner. It is this belief that drives an individual to be successful in his or her own field. All successful individuals have strong beliefs and it is one of the bases for their success. If we start to believe in ourselves, the things that we can achieve will definitely give us a pleasant surprise.
Other than having a strong belief, it is the attitude that drives the individual to create their own history. The devotion towards themselves and the drive must also be present. Imagine having a strong belief in oneself and having a poor attitude towards life. Then how would that individual turn out to be? One’s attitude comprises the drive, the devotion and the desire to achieve his goals. If one has strong beliefs about the goals that he can achieve and he displays good attitudes towards them, it would be no surprise to anyone that he will be able to achieve his goals.
Start believing in yourself and you will achieve your goals and with the right positive attitude, you will definitely be able to create the miracle that you have always dreamt of.
