W: Thank you for calling.
Text 10
We were about to gather up things and return to our car when a man appeared. He looked very annoyed and asked us angrily if we realized that these grounds were private property. He pointed to a notice which said that camping was not allowed. Poor Father explained that he had not seen the notice and did not know that camping was not allowed. Though Father apologized, the man did not seem satisfied and asked him for his name and address. All the way home, we were so upset that hardly anyone spoke a word.
For the rest of the week, we wondered what would happen. The following Sunday, we stayed at home even though it was a fine day. About noon, a large and very expensive car stopped outside our house. We were astonished when we saw several people preparing to have a picnic in our small garden. Father got angry and went out to ask them what they thought they were doing.
He was surprised to see that one of them was the man who had taken our address the week before. Both of them began laughing and Father welcomed the strangers into the house. In time, we became good friends. We learned a lesson we have never forgotten.

42.A. We soon reached the sands可知。
44.A.Keep us warm

56-59 BDDC 60-63 ACAB 64-67 ADBA 68-71 BBCD 72-75 ABDC
64.A.
76.college 77.Forgive 78. off 79. lucky 80. wealthy 81.during 82. summer 83. enough 84. top 85. phone
Super girls’ voice
Recently many people especially high school students have been fascinated by a singing competition “ Super girls’ voice”, which was held by Hunan TV station. Last weekend students in our class also head a heated discussion about it.
Some students supporting it think highly of the competition. They think it has offered a wonderful stage to ordinary but well singing girls to show their singing talents in public, and encourages people to pursue their dreams. What’s more, they can also develop their sense of competing during competitions.
On the other hand, the others don’t agree with them. They think a series of competitions costs lots of time and money. As most of girls are still students who should concentrate on their study at present, taking part in it is not good for their further progress.
In my opinion , it is just a successful program, which has attracted lots of audience’s attention. But seeing a bunch of girls with passion try hard to realize their dreams in the competition, we are inspired to study harder to be Super girls too, just as competitors.
