①鄉(xiāng)村是我永遠的家園。在我全部的生活中，鄉(xiāng)村是最重要的。
②雖然走進了城市，不可能與土地日日肌膚相親，但我始終以農(nóng)民的眼光審視鄉(xiāng)村。鄉(xiāng)村是城市的依托，沒有鄉(xiāng)村也就沒有城市的存在，鄉(xiāng)村是城市的母體，城市是鄉(xiāng)村的延伸和延續(xù)。鄉(xiāng)村是狗吠雞鳴牛哞，是薄薄的晨霧和裊裊的炊煙，一條靜靜地流淌的小河，茂密的小草尖上晶瑩的露珠閃耀著太陽的光彩。鄉(xiāng)村的早晨是清新和鮮明的。
③走進田野，就走進了自我。一株株茂盛的高粱、谷子或者玉米，就是我們的兄長。閃著光芒的鋤探進植物的根部，根系蔓延，鋤的鐵質(zhì)意念就通過異常發(fā)達的根系蔓延了整個土地，廣闊的原野處處閃耀著鐵質(zhì)的渾厚和沉重，所以我們收獲的每一粒糧食、每一季糧食都包含著鐵質(zhì)。鐵質(zhì)沿著血管流動，扎根于我們的每一處神經(jīng)，我們的脊梁才如此堅挺。
④糧食的存在，使鄉(xiāng)村有了存在的充分理由。一茬一茬的莊稼，一茬一茬的人生，在鄉(xiāng)村的藍天下格外亮麗。已經(jīng)死去多年的大樹仍然直直地挺立，黑枯的樹干直指青天，鄉(xiāng)村中許多的構(gòu)思和想象緣自樹干的啟迪。鐮刀閃著鐵質(zhì)的鋒利，農(nóng)民的夢想始終與莊稼有關(guān)，一頭牛與一架犁在土地深處探尋，渾黃或者黝黑的土壤蘊涵著無窮的力量，只要播下種子，幻想就無可阻擋地蓬勃起來了。土地時刻迸發(fā)著鐵質(zhì)的響聲。
⑤土地養(yǎng)育了莊稼，也養(yǎng)育了整個鄉(xiāng)村。鄉(xiāng)人們的性格和作為，任何時候都充滿著鐵質(zhì)，歡喜時會無所顧忌地暢心大笑，發(fā)怒時會打上一架，或者跑到村街上不明不白地罵上一場，悲哀時會痛痛快快淋漓盡致地大哭一場，然后又執(zhí)著地走進田野，走進勞作，一切都毫無遮遮掩掩。嫉惡如仇，旗幟鮮明，高昂的氣概和高亢的聲音比得過任何煩瑣深奧的說教。他們不怕風(fēng)，不怕雨，不怕雷鳴；他們飲風(fēng)露餐，吃得下千般苦，受得住萬般罪，他們常說“沒有吃不了的苦，沒有受不了的罪”。年景的豐歉和日子的辛苦都是歲月的點綴，他們從不怨天尤人，總是日出而作，日落而息。沿著太陽的方向走進田野，走進莊稼地里，走進鄉(xiāng)村深處的每一個細節(jié)，使鄉(xiāng)村的每一刻都充充實實和鏗鏘有聲。哪怕只是一聲勞動的號子，也如雷鳴一般響亮；哪怕只是向前邁出一步，也如山一般穩(wěn)重；哪怕只是一個耕或者種的手勢，也都是鄉(xiāng)村的經(jīng)典動作。鄉(xiāng)村，處處鐵質(zhì)，鐵質(zhì)處處。
⑥鄉(xiāng)村是農(nóng)民的部落。城里人已經(jīng)厭煩的事情，鄉(xiāng)村還在喜歡或者也早已厭煩，喜歡的是一種沒有丟失的鄉(xiāng)村質(zhì)樸，厭煩的是曾經(jīng)生活在鄉(xiāng)村里的城里人的矯作。城里人始終也在吃著鄉(xiāng)村的糧食，但缺少了鄉(xiāng)村的鐵質(zhì)。鐵質(zhì)似乎已被城里人丟失殆盡。我們是否要尋找鄉(xiāng)村的鐵質(zhì)，使鄉(xiāng)村鐵質(zhì)在城市里閃爍，應(yīng)該是我們思考的問題。
⑦鄉(xiāng)村是我們生存的依托，也是城市生活的依據(jù)，沒有了鄉(xiāng)村就沒有城市。是否有人為城市一天天侵占鄉(xiāng)村沾沾自喜呢?如果缺少了鄉(xiāng)村，缺少了鄉(xiāng)村鐵質(zhì)，我們將會更加頹廢，城市也將因此而變的莫名其妙地失去方向。因此，不論生活在鄉(xiāng)村還是城市里的人們，都不能忘記永遠的鄉(xiāng)村鐵質(zhì)，它是我們永遠的支撐，我們永遠的方向。
